Honor Guard - General Events (Ages 17+)
| |
Some events require no crying children and a little self control. Like our game demonstrations, technology expos for PC and
Online products, etc. As a rule, if you are old enough to drive then we will
let you in, provided you behave yourself. Honor Guard is more focused on early development of art
and media awareness prior entering the workforce. We try to explain what is being done, as well as
how that relates to serious work by professional full time artists in the industry, for students
from 17 to 26 years of age.
The focus is on ages from High School (USA Grades 11-12) to college (USA grades 13-16). You will not
drown in graduate papers or high-level shader mathematics at these events. Our focus remains to
let audiences enjoy the community and network with other avid gamers, guilds, RPG enthusiasts, LARP
organizations, and media vendors. Hostility between vendors will not be tolerated.
One thing we have encountered is a serious gray area among 17-28 year olds regarding lawful and
unlawful harassment, stalking, and abusive behavior. Specifically, intimidation and slander to
create ostracism and destroy communication against minority targets and victims of organized gang
activity. The President of the firm will personally eject, and may even file charges, if anyone
attempts to violate the law at our events in this way. It is his personal pet peeve. Failure to
regard this can (and has) resulted in a lifetime ban on certain individuals from our activities and
events for failure to comply.
